The Alle-Kiski Area Hope Center provices 5 programs related to Victims Services:
24-Hour Crisis Hotline
Support, education & options regarding DV as well as acts as an information & referral 24-hours a day, 7 days a week.
Emergency 30-Day Shelter
A secure place for victims (and children and pets) of DV, experiencing homelessness, along with weekly education-based life skills and goal planning assistance.
One year supportive housing to female victims and their children, along with goal planning and group education to aid in the process of becoming self-sufficient and obtaining permanent housing.
Our Legal Advocates provide assistance in both the civil and criminal court systems. Advocating on behalf of domestic violence victims and their children, legal advocates ensure that a victim’s safety and rights are protected within the court systems.
Advocates are available on an on-call basis to perform EPFA’s at the local Allegheny Valley Hospital. Medical Advocacy is also a part of HOPE’s on-call system.
